By volunteering at JCAN you are assisting in carrying out our mandate to improve healthcare in impoverished communities in Canada through greater access to healthcare services, health education, and investment in the future of nurses.

Our Objectives

To advance the profession of nursing in Canada

Purpose: To be a non-profit charitable organization that is carried on without purpose of gain for its members, and will ensure that any profit or other gains to the Association shall be used in promoting its purposes and activities.

• Promoting health by providing the public with preliminary medical diagnostic services

• Promoting health in impoverished areas of Jamaica, by providing necessary medical equipment

• Advancing education by providing bursaries to nursing students in Canada

• Undertaking activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above-mentioned charitable purposes
