Dr. Claudette Holloway
Executive Director of JCAN Operations

Claudette is the Executive Director of JCAN Operations and a registered nurse with experience in administration, leading effective teams, managing conflict, sessional instruction for nursing students, and mentoring. Claudette also has knowledge and experience in long-term care, community care, and public health, and qualified as a midwife earlier in her career.

She is passionate about promoting the nursing profession, decreasing, and eliminating discrimination and racism in nursing and the health care system, advancing health programs for the most vulnerable, and facilitating an equity lens approach. She has demonstrated her ability to participate in and build effective networks and partnerships with service partners. Claudette has a doctoral degree in Health Administration and recently obtained the Certified Health Executive designation with the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Claudette and her husband are parents to three adult children and enjoy three grandchildren.
